Introducing the Mother Son Glow Dodgeball Day!
We are so happy to have the Mother Son Glow Dodgeball Day at St. Ann on November 7th, 2026. This is for 3rd to 6th Grade boys and their moms to have a day of fun!
Note on Age Range & Safety:
Due to the safety concerns and vast diversity in development across grade levels, we have decided to have 2 separate sessions for the Glow Dodgeball Event. We will have one session with the 3rd and 4th graders and another with the 5th and 6th graders. If you have boys in both age ranges please plan to come to both sessions separately (we have included an hour long break for moms to trade their younger boys for the older ones if necessary while our team resets the space). Due to the safety concerns, we will not be making exceptions when it comes to having younger or older kids joining a session. Additionally, we will be using foam dodgeballs not rubber ones.
3rd & 4th Grade: 1:00-3:00PM (Session 1)
For our younger boys (3rd & 4th Graders), we will start at 1pm and end at 3pm. Please see below for the activities and structure of the day. We ask that anyone with younger boys not register them this year. We hope to make this an annual event so that the younger kids can enjoy it in the future, a smooth and safe environment at our first attempt will make that more likely.
5th & 6th Grade: 4:00-6:00PM (Session 2)
For our older boys (5th & 6th Graders), we will start at 4pm and end at 6pm. Please see below for the activities and structure of the day. We will have light snacks and refreshments, our idea is that you will be able to eat dinner after this session (maybe make it a little bit of a date with you son(s)!
Activities & Structure:
We will split our attendees into 4 groups and only 2 groups will be playing dodgeball at a time. Each group will play 4 rounds during the session (approx. 10 minutes each). When your group is not playing we will have a few other opportunities for your rest time. These will include face painting (neon war paint!), snacks and refreshments (we are not planning to serve a full meal so please plan to eat before or after the event), and photo opportunities. We will go over the rules at the beginning so it is important that you aim to be there around the opening time. Note for moms: most rounds will have you playing on your sons team, however, our final round is a moms vs. sons round, we ask that you come ready to bring the heat! (safely)
