Attendance: Consistency is crucial to Children’s formation so we ask that you plan your sports, studying, vacations, etc. around your serving. Of course, we understand things come up or can’t be missed. We expect you to miss no more than 3 times a semester. You can find a calendar of our dates at the bottom of this page.

Weekly: Our Children’s Ministry is modeled very closely to HSM. We gather as a large group and open with a game or music, we expect our teen volunteers to play, dance, and sing along with the kids. After our large opening we break out into small groups to teach Bible stories through activities (We give you a leader guide that can be followed almost like a script). After small group we gather for the last 15 minutes for a prayer activity as a large group.

Training: We will have a training and have you read and sign a teen leader code of conduct.

Our vision for Wednesday nights is that you could serve at Children’s Ministry before heading to HSM Bible Study. This could look like you serving from 6:00-7:15pm (arrive 10-15 minutes early as a leader) and heading accross the parking lot for Bible Study once we’re done (In which case you might miss Bible Study worship) or leaving Children’s Ministry once we gather for our prayer activity at 7:00 so you can make it to Bible Study in time for worship.

Children’s Ministry on Sundays is from 11:30am-12:45pm. This works out really well for those who attend 10am Mass. If you attend that Mass then we ask that you head over to the Assembly room immediately following Mass. If you attend a different mass then please make sure you are on time (10-15 minutes early for volunteers)
