Updated Offerings Fall 2023

St. Ann Kids

St. Ann Kids will continue providing an inclusive experience for our children with special needs in grades 1-4. We will meet weekly beginning in September from 11:30 - 12:45 PM. We will offer an adapted small group setting as well as mixed abilities experience, both with specialized support from catechist experienced in working with individuals with special needs. Registration for St. Ann Kids for individuals in grades first through fourth can be found at the link to 23-24 Registration above where there is an opportunity indicate the appropriate setting for your loved one as well as identifying their specific needs and how we can best support them while they are here. Middle and High School Ministries

Our Middle and High School Ministries will continue to provide an inclusive experience for youth in grades 5-12. We will meet weekly first on August 27, 2023 and again in September on Sunday evenings after the 4:30 PM Youth Mass. Following mass, middle school youth gather in the Cenacle and high school youth gather in the Assembly Room, both until 7:30 PM. We will offer an adapted small group setting as well as mixed abilities experience in both programs with specialized support from Core Volunteers experienced in working with individuals with special needs. Registration for can be found at the link to 23-24 Registration above where there is an opportunity to indicate the appropriate setting for your loved one as well as identifying their specific needs and how best we can support them while they are here. Sacramental Preparation

For individuals seeking Sacramental Preparation in grades 1-12, we will meet monthly on Sunday afternoon from 1:30 - 2:00 PM. We will use adapted materials to prepare individuals to receive the sacrament that they are seeking. Reception of the sacrament will occur based on the needs of the individual. Our first Sacramental Prep Session will be on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Registration can be found in either the Children’s Ministry or Youth Ministry registration page and by identifying the individual as having special needs and seeking sacraments. Monthly Support Groups

Monthly Support Groups for Parents and Siblings will continue this fall in person. We will begin again in August with a Family Dinner on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 7:00 PM. Our next gathering will be in September and will continue once a month throughout the year. Support Groups provide an opportunity for parents and siblings to come together to share their experiences, give hope and receive encouragement for the journey. While parents and siblings meet simultaneously, children and teens with disabilities as well as younger siblings will enjoy fun and fellowship.


Night to Shine

Night to Shine presented by the Tim Tebow Foundation and hosted locally by St. Ann Parish, First United Methodist Church of Coppell and The Servant House is a prom night experience for individuals with disabilities ages 14+. Save the date for our next Night to Shine, February 9, 2024. More information regarding Night to Shine 2024 will be announced later this fall.
