The Jesse Tree represents the family tree, or genealogy, of Jesus. It tells the story of God's plan for salvation, beginning with creation, continuing through the Old Testament, to the coming of the Messiah. This tradition allows us to journey and join in anticipation with God’s people as they awaited the birth of the Messiah. Each day of Advent, you hang a new ornament and read the scripture passage that goes along with it.
